LUWOGE consult developed and supported energy concepts for the BuildTog Projects. They provided the methodological quality management tools and prepared the monitoring of the local implementations. (The company was founded in 2006 and closed down at the end of 2017.)

The Passive House Institute (PHI) is an independent research institute with the only internationally recognised, performance-based energy standard in construction. The BuildTog 1G houses based their energy performance on this standard. They are certifying and monitoring the Passive House Standard.
